I remember one time, I think it was sometime back in 2012, that the whole map was green for a fleeting few moments.

    Ah, the good ol' days.

Shit, I remember back in highschool, 1999ish, I could get from north bend to Renton in 30min or less right after class. Now I try not to go any further west than Issaquah, and that can take 30min+ sometimes.

Got a hard tonneau cover from @GetzPayd. Thank you!
I'm going to do some mods to work with my hi-lift and shovel brackets. I won't be able to get to that until next week, but I'll post up some pictures of what I did.
I've got a few ideas on how to increase the security too and I'll be doing those mods as well.

I think Burlington Northern has plowed over Stamped Pass. Should be open.

Understandable, but if you're planning to stay here even for a few years, it's worth it to buy instead of rent since rent is not cheap and you'll gain a good amount in equity. I believe the median price of houses in King County rose 40k in the month of March alone. Property tax isn't that bad, we are paying 5.5k a year on a 525k house (2470 sq/feet) in Renton. I know it's a lot more in places like Austin, TX.

The market is seeing a slow down or slight correction to the INSANE rate at which it was growing earlier this year, but it's still the fastest in the U.S, followed by Portland.

    Snugtop, more to come!

That’s why my house in North Bend is listing next week! As I understand, the market will plateau then reverse somewhat soon so we are taking advantages. That, and they are developing every nook and cranny in the mountains which makes me sad. My wife commutes from NB to Renton every day, it’s not that bad if you time it right.

My house is already on the market ;) We were considering NB for a while but ultimately decided snoqualmie ridge and NB are a little too far out for us.

    Good luck with your listing!

I just have the velcro straps. No buckles. I thought I read someone else threw ratchet straps on there's. I'm of the thought that if you have to ratchet the tent down to close it there's probably too much tension on the frame (hate to find out the hard way).

You're right. I really haven't done a great job at folding in the sides in tight as I close it. I'll try that first :frusty:. Part of the reason I didn't mess with it was because I was climbing on my truck like a damn jungle gym to close the thing...And when you're up there after a couple of road sodas it gets tricky. I took your advice and got the step ladder. I'll be testing that method out this weekend and I'll be sure to tuck the sides in as I fold er up. Good call, man.

Also...ordered a black cover and a double boot bag. Big pimpin' now. :hattip:

I'd be interested in what you do. I'm running a little solar panel going to a USB power bank that runs everything, but havent found much data on what other people are doing

I already have 2ga wire and fuse panel running to my truck bed. So my initial thought is 12ga wire run up to the tent with weather pack disconnect . I would probably install a small control panel, maybe mounted on the tent pole with a USB charger and a rotary dimmer switch for the an LED light strip. I need to figure out how I want to mount the led light... maybe mounted on the pole. I need to think about it a little more. Ill post some pics in a few weeks

I'd recommend doing some of those cheap LED strip lights and run them throughout the tent. The problem with a lot of standard LED lights in tents is the light isn't even enough.

so just got back from Hawaii last night. There is National Guard all over so I couldn't get anywhere near the lava fissures. But everyday we could see two big plumes, one all white where it's going into the ocean. The other dark gray with all the fumes and ash. Sad though, Kapoho is gone, Champagne Ponds, tide pools, all gone now. I don't even know how many homes now.

Huli Huli chicken pics below. The ohia hardwood gives them a good smokey taste.

Great question and Tepui's site isn't that great from a navigation aspect. Go to...Gear > For Your Tent > Accessories > (on the left hand navigation menu) select "spare parts" > Covers will be on the bottom left
