At least you get to stay in california if it miraculously passes, socal goes up pretty far north

 

Why would I want to stay in "California" if the state split.

That state would have all the existing rules that I hate.

 

I think the rules will get worse in all three states...it is a crazy idea. Though looks like most of the ag business stays in socal, that will help that state since we supply a shit ton of ag to the rest of the country and most of the almonds to the world.

 

So is it official that Cali will become three states or is this just a proposed idea?

 

Propossed, we get to vote on it, it wont be fiscally viable imo

 

Would it be for the good in the long run? I feel like cali does have a lot of real estate that as a whole everyone is responsible for. I wonder what laws would change for the better or worse if things broke up though.

LA is in cali my guess is yes to higher taxes, but in all the states. Soca for sure to help subsidize all the farmers in the central valley.

 

Is there a debt situation that is helping provoke the movement? That's the only good thing I could see is if they made a better way to handle tax debt for the state...but I don't really know whats up on that part.

 

Congress wont approve California to seperate/succede into 3 seperate states. And you think that the DNC wont go down without fighting because they they know they will loose a lot of (D) Reps..

 

The main reason for the spilt is to make it easier on politians because ca has so many people. Supposedly government can run more efficiently being divided.

 

They could cause that state would include the country boys in cali, farmers, desert rats, and peeps in the mtns. But it all seems suspicious
