Where you removed the sheet metal above the drivers door and c pillar area, did you weld the body to the cage?

Jesus Christ it hasn't even been 24 hours and theres like 6 new damn pages of just whos dick is bigger!

with that being said send the truck out to LSK or solo or TT and have them back half it. For links theres not many options for DCSB thats why i ended up planning on stretching mine just enough to fit camburg links under it

So your going to run the same lowers JD has? Or are they making you something with the shock mounts closer to the axle?

Yeah the cage welded directly to the a pillar then I plated over that too with dimple die plates, welded it where I could a long the top, tied the down tubes into the seatbelt mounts because that's one of the strongest parts and also did some simple die plates too

Just far enough for camburg links = 6' bed. Kinda like what Tommy from tt Motorsports did to his truck and macs. I haven't thought about going this route too but I don't really want the even bigger wheelbase. Josh's @dirt addiction truck does work really well though

ah. Well that to me i guess is streching the wheel base haha since you're going from a short bed wheel base to a long bed wheel base.

    But cool.

Same reason why I came up with my own. I want the same wheel base. Now if they will work. Who knows... I’m more concerned with the tire rubbing the bypass when it flexes. I’ll be sticking with 2.5 to help.

Damn you just beat me lol. Its hard to catch the actual good info in this thread because its full of the drama filled dick pic contest that has nothing to do with LT, but that is pretty much normal in here now

only enough to where the coilovers clear the cab, every linked DC ive seen have 60" links i think. from what ive measured out its going to be a medium bed lol

ill get 8" glass and either cut them down or trim the lips and overlay them on the back door and have them cut out so i can still open the back door.

Rubbing is racing IMG_1720.jpgSide note for those building these. Bypasses with overlapping pattern and at least 4 tubes is key! It's really hard to get the rebound fast enough without the extra rebound tube
