Yeah... Don't think this will ever pan out. Which state would be responsible for the $trillion that we currently owe as a state? Also, who would pay all of the pensions that the state owes on a perpetual basis. It would be a nightmare to figure that all out.

Even if it passes (which is unlikely) it still needs to be approved by congress.

 

Maybe / Maybe Not.

Proposed NoCal and SoCal are almost all red counties.
Proposed Cal is all blue counties.

 

Yeah... maybe we could get a little break for 2nd amendment rights aka guns, and some favorable tax changes if we got some Republicans in office. That said, I don’t see this happening.
