3” in a Tacoma should be fine. As long as it doesn’t look to ridiculous you should be able to find a place. The cameras are all over head views and you probably can’t tell the difference with a few inches.

I got my new shocks installed the other night and it's awesome to not have to deal with coilovers! Whole process took me about an hour and a half and that was only because there was some asshole bolt I couldn't get a wrench on. It's like a completely different truck, the shocks made a pretty significant difference in the ride quality. Never had Ranchos before but, so far, I'm impressed.

It's gonna take me a while to get used to this whole 1st shift thing.

 

Couldn’t pay me enough to go to first shift. Overnights for lyfe! Most money, weekends off, least amount of work.

 

Nice! I'm glad that works for you, idk if I could do it for an extended period of time.

I have been working 2pm-10pm for the past 3.5 years up until 2 weeks ago. I liked being able to sleep in, but getting out of work early and being able to do things with family and friends in the evening is way better for me.

 

Been doin it for about 7 years now in two different state jobs with a few stints of 3-11 in transitional periods. Works for us so I’m home to pick up the boys from school(Daycare) and do dinner, baths and bedtime. I’d lose differential on days and have something stupid like Tues-weds as days off.
I also hate commute time traffic.

 

I hear you about the traffic, especially if you're in Boston.

 

Massive mail call this morning from Brute Force Fabrication. Picked it up at Fastenal and dropped off at the powder coat shop. No pictures of the bumper itself yet. I didn't want to unwrap it before dropping it off.

 

They got me on tint with 30% and legal limit being 35%

Luckily he told me before he put it in the computer that i was going to fail it before he actually did

 

They got me for that too. I went to a different place on a nice day with the windows down and passed no problem

 

mine reads 11% right now lol last inspection the guy let me fly and was like next year this isnt going to pass with the cameras. So in September Ill get it re tinted to the legal limit

 

Just got mine inspected a couple weeks back and had no issues. I may have had the guys at the shop I hang out at call their sister shop that does inspections and let them know that I was coming... Which may or may not have helped.

 

I guess that's the one good thing about CT. No inspection
