I am looking into buying a new tacoma regular cab 4x4 in the near future with all the bells and whistles. I plan to build my own, but here is my problem. I still trying to find a regular cab 4x4 to test drive! It is driving me nuts. I am sure that the 4banger will drive fine but i do want to see what the inside looks like with the bucket seats. For you that own a regular cab 4x4 can you post a picture of your interior? It would be awesome! Also, do you have manual hubs or are they automatic now? Thanks in advance!

    Alan!

I'm at work right now *shh* but umm I can take some pics this weekend probably....its not bucket seats though. I have the bench. The 4 banger is plenty capable for a truck unless your pulling something big. I'm never really displeased with the amount of power I have and it gets great gas mileage.

I did a quick search on the web and could not find any pictures of a reg cab with buckets. All I found was these.

That looks almost like mine. Mine has a stick shift nto a sloshamatic and it has a dial for the 4 wheel drive on teh right side of the steering wheel. Thats my bench though.

I sat in one at the dealer last year when I bought my X-Runner, they have alot of room in them for a reg cab. I was very surprised, I wish I had enough dough to pick one up and keep my X-Runner.

i'd have to second that. power is nice with I4, only complaint is the inability to recline the bench seat. besides that i love it. i've been getting right at 25 mpg, which is a treat compared to the cherokee i had.

also, i apologize if i make dizrick upset, however, i saw this pic in the gallery and i think it is what you are lookin for.

I got my first 4x4 in 1972...haven't been without one! I still like Chrome!
I had to drive 2 hours to find a 4x4 Reg with the SR5 package (SR5 gives
you the bucket seats). Sorry no pics of the inside, but I love it. The cruise and fog light mods are very very nice. And I don't miss the power windows (not avaliable on reg cab).
Good luck finding one, they are hard to find around here.

I checked with my "buddy" at the service desk, and reg. cabs are special order in this neck of the woods, don't give up though, they are sweet rides and extremely competent off road, and if your going to spend all that money, get what you want.
