Thanks! This is my first MK3, I did a decent amount of research before even looking at these, so I know a little but not as much as Tacomas haha. I'll definitely hit you up if I've got any questions thanks!

That thing is clean as hell! Sucks about all the shit you've been through but seems like you're on the up and up.

Its definitely been a labor of love and frustration. I've done most everything myself and have learned a ton in the process. Supramania.com is a wealth of information although most of the posts you'll find are close to 10 years old. Luckily, these cars have been around long enough that most every problem has been had and solved on the forums. Good luck with the build!

I didn't know who knew anything about these so I didn't know who to tag. Plus I know some people don't like being brought into threads so I just tend to let them jump in themselves.

Welcome! I know you know your turbo shit so if I run into any snags I'm going to you as well as a few others

I miss that thing, it was my buddy's car but up until I left we pretty much worked on all of its mods together.

Yep, they can be quick. Looks like the same intercooler I have. I'm right at double the stock HP so it puts you back in you seat...he's got a bigger turbo than I do.

She's sitting right at 480HP at the wheels as of a dyno run the other week. He's battling spark blowout now and is starting to convert to E85 and GM LS1 ignition coils.

Not for some time probably. Need to get some major stuff on the truck done before I get to messing with this.

Not even driving the Supra all week because of rain. The stupid Targa top started to leak (rear center of all fucking places, the place it usually doesn't). It didn't leak at all until I took it off to clean it up a bit :annoyed: So it's been retired to driving only on non raining days until I mess with it some more. :frusty:

I had the same problem. I left the tops off and put Vasoline on the seals and let the rubber soak up what it could for a couple of days. Wiped them off just leaving a thin film on. So far no leaks.

That's my plan as I've read that on some forums but I don't think I have Vasoline. Hopefully I can remember tonight at the store and snag some

Got some Vasoline on the seals now so hopefully that’ll solve it. I’ll try to test it out next week, gonna let it soak in a bit.

Also found my interior fuse box and one of the slots “Seat HTR” is missing a fuse so hopefully that’ll mean my seat can move. But of course I don’t have any of the correct fuses. Will look in the repair manual for more info

That’s my first thought but I don’t have one. At least I don’t think we do, there’s no setting anywhere for it

huh, well who knows what they wired up, you can always take the switches off and manually apply power to them to make sure the motors work

Just looked in the repair manual, there is seat heater option but I don’t have it. Explains why the fuse isn’t there.

Yeah I’ll rip apart the motor some time soon, just didn’t want to get that involved tonight.
