Cooper Discoverer A/T3 megathread?

Has anyone found where these can be preordered yet? Any info on pricing?

 

I am not sure on where you can order them but I was told that they should be very close to the current model AT3 pricing. I am not sure if that helps or not.

 

I placed an order with Discount Tire on Monday. You can do it by calling or in person.

 

What was the pricing and what did you order?

 

I got the 265/75/16 LT's in load range C for I think around $160 a tire. That's twenty or thirty more than base model. Total out the door cost was maybe around $700 with the install. Probably could have waited and saved some money, but need new tires. And I had a hard time pulling the trigger on the same size KO2s in load range E, also wasn't sold falken wildpeaks.

 

Rad, that’s the exact same tire I’m going for. When did they think you’d get them?

 

I got a set! Quiet on the highway and pretty solid off road. I have 265/75r16 on my yota.I got the passanger version I think. Paid $580 at Mavis.

 

I was told they would ship on June 18th. Also, I only had to pay a $25 deposit when I went into the local shop; I'll pay the remaining balance when I go to get them installed.

Looks awesome! How do they ride?

 

They are super quiet compared to the Cooper STT Pros that we had on before. They are also more comfortable and we get better mpg but all things that are expected for an AT vs MT. They are way nicer than the Goodyear Wrangler that are on my Taco.

 

Just curious on how you got these before the official release date.

 

I guess that is one of the perks of getting tires from the Cooper Dealership in The same city as there headquarters.

This tire checks all my boxes. I only have 1k miles on my truck, but these tires are worth swapping out for if they come in load range C 265/75/16's. Patiently awaiting the release. Looks like they've shown up several times, then been pulled, no current info anywhere. Anyone seen C rated in 16 yet? I apologize if it's already in the thread, I didn't see it if so.

 

Info is up on coopers website. 265/75r16 C is available in the old versions and the new LT, but not the 4s or XLT

 

Bummer. The XLT was the only one I was interested in. The tire search continues...

 

There's always the General ATX but that's only E in that size I believe.

 

Looks like Cooper divided the old AT/3 line into the 4S and LT with all the P-metric tires landing in the 4S category and the smaller LT versions in the LT category. LT gets more aggressive sidewalls. All makes sense. The larger LTs are now in the XLT with even cooler sidewalls.

What I want is a 235/85/16 XLT but they don't make it in that size so the LT is the furthest up the line I can go. For now?

 

Anyone have a picture of the newly released LT's in the wild? I've seen the rendering, but not an actual picture. Thinking i could probably make these work, but I like the sidewalls to have bite. They're making them in a 265/75/16 "C" rated.
