Cool. Didn't know that. Good info on bypasses. Wonder what ADS does.

 

They do both. I have been talking about switching my tears to some ads 5tubes. My good buddy Karl works for them. Mcmasterfabber on instagram. He posts some good shock info on his page too, a long with some funny stuff and his mullet

 

Now let's see if anyone knows the answer to this. How can you get a staggered tube layout to work more like a overlapping layout?

 

If proper valving worked perfectly bypasses wouldnt exist lol

There ya go. It's windy out here, but since you're not an 18yr old college kid, way better than living in town

 

So the answer is freebleeds but not the normal freebleeds on the piston. It's freebleeds on you bypass poppets aka check valves. So you can leave all the freebleeds plugged on the piston for the best bump zone possible and then add bleed holes to the poppets in the zones you want. To do it right you have to have the holes in the opposite tube of where you want it. Example you need some more flow on compression. You would add the bleeds to rebound tube. So say on a king with staggered tubes you can actually end up making your rebound tube help you for compression too in that zone. Now how many bleeds depends on what is needed. Here is one that's on the extreme side but it gets the point across

Can we talk about how stupid some people are when it comes to selling LT coilovers? Even if you explain in your ad that yes, they will fit a second gen Tacoma, but you have to spend money on a kit, you’ll still get asked if they’ll fit etc.
