This forum is metaphorically depressing. I used to encounter all these idiots all the time and just ignored them, now I make mental note so I can post em up...my brain is filled with fucking idiots ALL the time I’m driving thank you.

Except for the Prius’s, those fucking things I just can’t stand and I’ve had to learn not to go postal on the idiots who purchased them for whatever miss guided reason they did.

Ok so my idiot of the day are home owners on 16th acre lots that hire landscapers with a golf course worth of maintenance tools to cut their dead grass during rush hour whom blocks traffic. What ever happened to doing shit yourself around the house? Maybe they are stuck in their own traffic jam in their Prius comsuming 10x lithium resources from communist regimes to save the world.

 

My wife was a Prius driver. That's like saying everyone who drives a pickup is a rock stupid, backwards hillbilly.

 

How does Texas have so many diabetics?

People who insist on stopping in the middle of a busy road (or parking lot) to drop off a passenger, unload their vehicle, parallel park, etc, and seem blissfully unaware of the fact that a traffic jam has formed behind them...

This happened to me twice today!

 

Oh, and unsurprisingly both were in Doylestown Borough...

The first one happened as I was making a left from East State Street onto South Main Street. There was a blue GMC Sierra in front of me and a late model Mercedes SUV in front of it, and all of a sudden traffic just stopped. The Benz just sat there for a bit and the guy in the GMC was visibly annoyed. Finally, after several seconds of the Benz just sitting there, I beeped my horn and the guy threw up his hands as if to say "What do you want me to do?" I shouted out the window "I'm not beeping at you." The woman in the Benz then proceeds to back up with the guy in the GMC still there!

The guy shifted into reverse and started backing up, with me right there! I then had to shift into reverse and back up. There was a late model Acura SUV behind me, and I saw them, but they had no way of knowing that, so they beeped at me thinking I was about to blindly back into them. This woman in the Benz held up traffic for well over a minute because she was too damn impatient to drive right around the corner where there were probably more spots. When traffic is starting to clog a 3-way intersection in Doylestown, less than a minute can seem like an eternity!

 

And then maybe 20 minutes ago, I was making a left into the Simply Fresh grocery store, which has a notoriously undersized parking lot. There was an older model Honda Pilot in front of me, and the drive abruptly stopped in the middle of the parking lot while my Tacoma was still mostly sticking out of the parking lot. Unfortunately, a red Ford F-150 had just made a right turn out of the same parking lot and I was blocking his way. The driver of the Pilot gave no indication of what he was doing and there were plenty of available spaces in the parking lot. If my truck hadn't been blocking traffic in the opposite direction because of him, I would have waited, but that wasn't the case...

I beeped the horn, and all of a sudden a girl of probably 14-15 years appeared so quickly from in front of the Pilot that I initially thought she'd been a pedestrian waiting to cross. The girl ran over to Planet Smoothie next door and the Pilot got moving. It was at this moment that this guy was dropping off his kid...

I can dig that, but pull all the way into the goddamn parking lot if you're gonna chat before discharging your passenger(s)!

 

buddy the other day was stopped in the middle of the road talking to the neighbor. I was about to slap her in 4wd and push him down the block. dude couldn't be bother to pull over to the curb I guess

This happened sometime in the fall of 2016, not long after I put the dashcam in my truck...

I was on an unassuming 2-way street in Doylestown Borough, and there were metered parking spaces on my side. All of a sudden, this woman in a Jeep Liberty swerves across the double yellow line into, almost hit me head-on, at which point laid on the horn because I thought she was going to hit me. She swerved left again, and proceeded to drive the wrong way along the metered spaces until she made a left turn down a narrow alley into a parking lot. I was absolutely livid...

I saw there were people in the parking lot obviously waiting for the woman in the Jeep, so I made sure there was nobody behind me, slammed on the brakes, and screamed out my window "That bitch almost hit me head on!"

The guy in the parking lot apologized as if this was a normal occurrence...

 

Once when I was going to my friend's house in a small town there were two trucks stopped blocking the road. I stopped and got out to see what was going on. Two of my friends had stopped in the road to bs. We talked for awhile, no one came along. Society's problems are caused by too many people, progressive ideas and scarcity of proper manual transmissions.

 

I agree with you wholeheartedly on all three of those!

I'm telling you, peeps in American cars aren't good drivers.

 

This one time, on my way to band camp, I had to park across the street because there was no parking spaces left in front of the bank. Life is so hard.

 

Except my Grandma...

She drove nothing but American cars and had one accident during the last 40 years of her life!

 

Of course, there is always exceptions.
