That shit cracked me up when I was in the barracks. I still laugh at my brother who is an E5 in the barracks.

.... On a different note. Blower motor's plastic bit is cracked on my truck. Makes an awful noise on high. Motor itself seems fine. Just noticed after driving it while it's sat for 3 weeks. Anyone know if theres any other options than buying this $100 part? Seems to have a different design than the 2nd gen's. Not sure if their much cheaper version will fit.

 

I can tell you I put up with a squeaky blower for years before replacing it. Best $100 I ever spent on the truck (well, maybe tied with tint and weathertechs). I don’t thinks the squirrel cage itself is available separately.

 

Ya the motor coming with it is the problem. I'm still under warranty so I'm going to try that tomorrow. Wonder if I pull it out if I can separate them and glue or melt the plastic into place. Its cracked on the top part.

 

Was going to remind you that this is likely a warranty issue. Mine rattled and they replaced it as a warranty issue.

 

I'm hoping that's the case.
