3rd gens are the best looking gen

I went to the dealer with intentions of buying a 3rd gen because I loved the new look and interior, but I could not settle for over shifting transmission. Function was my reason for a 2nd gen

 

I love mine!

 

That is fixed by a TSB.

Only about 7 more years till we see a 4th gen. By then ill be more than ready for a truck

 

Any of you guys been to panther falls? I'm making my first trip tomorrow and was wondering if there was any legal pull off rtt type camping like around Staton creek falls.

 

O hell no. the 2nd gen of the 2nd gen is a work of art unparalleled since the 69 chevy

 

As of last July, when I bought my 15, none of the new trucks felt “fixed”

 

Oh it took them until July of 16, to fix it.

 

There are "fixes" for it.

For the record, I don’t think the transmission over shifts. My 2016 did until I got the TSB, and my 2017 hasn’t since I bought it. Unless you are talking about the quick upshifting into 6th when cruising to save gas? Mine does that but I don’t mind it since I drive like an old man anyway. Just my two yen on that...

Edit: I also had a 2014 TRD Baja, so I do have 2nd gen experience to go on as well. I will admit I liked the motor/trans combo better in the 2nd Gen, but I think the 3rd gen gets some unwarranted negative reviews for a transmission that is really not that bad at all. End of the day, they are all great trucks!

I like the motor and trans more on the 2nd gen.

I like everything else more on the 3rd gen.

I could get a new 3rd gen.
Couldnt get a brand new 2nd gen.

Also, I drive 55 miles each way from work, and the 3rd gens interior is lightyears better than the 2nd gen
