Wellllll shit.

I finally have a lead on a set of OZ Rally 6 lug wheels. You know, those ones I've been shitposting about totally getting someday?

Yeah, uni-freakin-corn 6x139.7 pattern OZ Rallys.

Don't have pictures, don't have offsets/sizes yet, probably need plenty of TLC, but oooh I've lusted after them since I was 18 or so. On cars other than Tacomas, yes, but still!

 

When you get back in the car from getting Wingstop to go, and realize your shirt is inside out.

 

What do these mythical creatures look like?

Those are reps but yeah basically.

I think they look cool, but I get that it's a chocolate and vanilla thing.

At the very least they are tasteful, unlike some people who put rims on their Tacomas that looked like a beyblade fucked one of those spring bouncers from sonic the hedgehog.

 

look aight. I'd have no issues smashing them into rocks though.

 

Hubcentric or lugcentric?

If I had a big budget to drop I think I would go Volk TE37x in -20mm offset.

I'm not sure actually on the hub vs lugcentric.

Also budget wise these are roughly the same/ a little cheaper than my F5's which is why I'm thinking they'll be desperately in need of a bead blast and powder coat. The asking price I've been told is $700 for 5.

$700 gets you ONE TE37 and maybe some change. They are damn light though.

 

Maybe it is the bright yellow paint that is distracting. If all black then not too bad

 

The yellow is vinyl. I'm thinking since the vinyl will be long since gone, get them coated in a glossy gunmetal with a bit of that pearlescent/metallic flake. And maybe make replicas of the vinyl but in black or something that doesn't stand out like crazy.

 

That rim in the center looks pretty beat.
