I finally made the decision to strip the paint off my wheels that were painted by the previous owner. What a fuckin pain in the ass. This is the 3rd coat of stripper:bananadead::bananadead:20180614_154704.jpg

How can I test the fuel system for leaks while I have the S/C off? When I cycle the key is that all the fuel pressure I will get?
I need to tell the injectors to fire to confirm that the injector O-rings are intact, correct?

    This is on a 1999 5VZfe in a 4Runner.

The only thing I have been thinking about lately if finishing my damn truck so I can take it to some trails... I talked to my banker who is friends with the master mechanic at the new toyota dealer, he's gonna get me in contact with him about getting my wheel bearings done with him instead of through the dealer. He said for like $50 or two cases of beer they will typically leave a bay open after hours and do the work for cheap

Nice. What'd you end up going with weight-wise, and did you have them move the pin at all?

Would you mind doing a measurement from the center of the front hanger bushing bolt hole to the leaf pack's centering pin?

Installed Bed Cap. Got it used on CL. Cleaned a lot, Rain-X all windows, put in headliner, LED 3rd brake light, screens on sliders, new rear window hatch seal, super seal mounting gasket, tailgate seals. No leaks, love the space. Also (not in picture) did the "free" front turn signal mod, making space for 3" square fogs in front bumper future install.Cap Front Quarter.jpg

That thing is gorgeous! Even with the non color matched cap. Always loved the brighter fire engine red Toyotas.

Update: the canopy I got didn’t mine up good sooo rocking the normal bed while trying to figure out what to do. Hopefully someone will buy it and I can find a better one. It didn’t sit right on the truck and had weird gaps-it didn’t overlap on the side and had weird gaps. Also this is the longest I’ve ever gone without washing my vehicle :|4F424F2C-3A41-424B-9DA3-B998DAEB0E89.jpg
