Wow - that just blows my mind.

Night shift here, the parking lot is pretty barren. I bet I could find close to a dozen parked out there now.

Hell, I know 3 people here right now that drove their Tacos in for sure tonight.

My parking lot is full of Silverado's. It's funny to me, because these guys will talk about how great and reliable Toyota trucks are. Then they buy a new Silverado or F150 every few years when they start having issues with their current truck.

I'd say we have more fullsize trucks running around more than anything. I even test drove a 2014 Black crewmax Tundra. If the Tacoma hadn't been able to tow what it can, I would have gone that route..........that and the fact it made my 5'6" frame feel like a midget in there

I think I’m the only Taco driver in plant services. Plenty of Dr.s and nurses drive Tacos and Tundras.

    I stand corrected.

Two different guys (that I don't even know) told me they had sold out completely in 1-3 MINUTES!

    Talk about luck!

I don't think so, oddly enough.

I rarely see them here for sale used, and if someone DOES try to sell them for more than retail they usually get crucified pretty good.

I just didn't know if people would do that like they did ammo and such when there's a shortage.

Yeah, I remember the HUGE 22LR shortage of a few years back.

SCS just doesn't make a lot of wheels - they're a smaller shop and pretty much sell everything they make.

I'm surprised that folks don't buy them to flip, but if they're like me they worked to damned hard in the first place to get 'em!

Starts to pick up about 5:00am. When I’m leaving town 7:30ish it’s bumper to bumper coming into town.

I'll admit, I sold 3 boxes of the CCI 1600rds ammo cans when all that happened. I had plenty, but I did run them as a no reserve auction on gun broker. So I didn't really feel bad about it.....the market kind of spoke.

Even though I don't get to go out and shoot much anymore I always keep a bunch around.

I didn't have quite enough to where I'd have been comfortable selling any then. I'm glad I didn't though, it took a LONG time to get any on the shelves around here.

On a side note, it kind of amazes me the amount of gun-friendly attitudes there are here on this site.

    It's nice.

I use to go on my off nights and get to the store at 3am and wait until they opened at 7. I met a bunch of cool "old" guys that I still keep in touch with. It was so bad they would sell you 3 boxes and it had to be different calibers. I got to the point where I'd buy .22 for one of the guys and they'd buy 5.56 for me.
No doubt. I think I like building them more than shooting
I'd have be tempted to tell them that bit of info on my way out after high fiving them

    Howdy, GS peeps.

Just back from rounds, safety meeting and placed a steam condensate drop leg back on line. I'd say I peaked.

I just got back from swapping out some hardware in a couple of fabs.

I think I actually broke a sweat! What the hell do they think they're paying me to do, work? :anonymous:
