    Good Morning

Looks like we might get a little rain. Sure could use some. I'm helping neighbor install a patio door this morning and hang cabinets.

Don't feel bad, I still have 12 years. Sure would be nice if work offers early retirement like they have past,,,in about 8 years. It's all about the insurance.

Yeah, there's no pension here so I'm on my own for retirement income when I'm finally done.

Thanks I was wondering what that stood for. So these aren’t good candidates for a K9? I see the parents all time, and there good looking dogs. They have a great outdoor area and good shelter from the sun during the day.

We used to have pension. In the Big Screw Job of 2009 we lost it. We got to keep the value of it at that time. I'm sure even that will get taken away at some point. I know the government will find a a way to take away our 401k..
Sorry, not trying to be political, but ALL of our elected officials need to pull their heads out of their :censored:

I hope that doesn’t happen to you.

I’m pretty safe with the state retirement system, the worst case scenario would be they would have to buy us out.

Hazy Hot And Humid here today! Hopefully we get some rain soon, it’s been a scorcher!!! Blue crabs and Alaskan crabs with all the fixings for dinner tonight :hungry:

It would depend on so many things , one quick way to find out is what color are the parents ..yep racist lol no the black and gray or silver is Americanized USUALLY they are to large and loose jointed for working dog material. Most working dogs hover between 65 and 85 -90 lbs . Huge dogs are scary but it is not healthy for them to jump it will damage thier elbows and spine. They are also not as athletic / agile . There are just as in everything else in nature exceptions to the rule. If they are east germans, chech etc you have to look for roach back (spinal curvature vertically up) to much is again a problem which will be exacerbated by working the dog.

Then you have temperment and drives food, prey, play, fight, defense as a puppy they have to display these traits not to the fullest extent but they have to be there.

That is the bare bones of working dog stuff maybe whoever reads it doesn't fall asleep lol. If you want to know more I will put a link in to one of my old trainers she has a very good article on her site explaining drives on her site.

So Saddle back Black and Tan or deep Mahogany is European lines their colors change as they get older just so you know . If you were interested in one get me the papers on the mom and dad you can sort of look at the lineage and then the dogs themselves. Again there is no guarantees you just have to play the percentages. I would be curious on how much .. I ask as if they are advertising like that versus on GSD sites and or Ads in dog Mags etc it sort of hints at a back yard breeding deal which can be awesome but... can also be a night mare of medical issues . I am not a breeder and never want to even try it I just enough to be dangerous . I have had mutts from the pound with nary a medical issue and pure breds with awesome lineage allergic to grass lol so it is a dice roll I just like to load the dice in my favor if possible.
