    At my office they will have the 5 projectors in our Cafe playing the world cup games. They started doing this for large events like this about 5 years ago when everyone was streaming the events individually on their computers and essentially crashed our network. There's probably 3,500 people in the office I'm in.

    Normally, I'd agree with you. I absolutely love playing soccer, I've been playing as long as I can remember and it's my favorite sport by far. But, I can't stand watching it on TV, the views you get to see are ridiculous, you can't see the people moving off the ball which is how the big plays develop and the exciting part of the game. That being said, once it gets to this level of play, either the Olympics or the World Cup (and a few other big games), I start paying attention and watching the games.
