    That documentary was a great watch and insightful, thanks for linking it up! :thumbsup:

    After watching that, other videos and threads, and seeing all the other blockbuster releases coming out of E3..this is now pretty much on the lower end of my list.

    Had a chance to educate myself on the recent FO76 online debacle. From my understanding is that they are looking to eventually implement a dedicated solo server capability that wont be available until later on after launch? Im thinking I might wait until this is def confirmed as up till now I was ready to walk away from this, but as @jhodge83 was describing I do like the potential of "nuking" things for the greater good in terms of big bosses and the like.

    Considering Fall out in general seems to have good intentions with things, I get a feeling this game will be better than most are predicting based off the scarce info we know at this point. That said though, Im not preordering anything.

    apparently you also need to nuke fissures in the crust to stop those big ass, skyrim dragon looking things. there are groups already establishing on the r/FO76 for discord groups to do different things. some are helping others, traders, and some are raider types. just depends on what you're wanting to do, join a group and have at it.

    oh...and there's going to be a random perk situation depending on rad levels, etc...so soak up that nuke fallout goodness.

    • 2:52 - More information about how it will compare to fo3 and fo4 experience
    • 4:25 - Todd basically says that he understand our anxiety regarding MP and they have kept that in mind during development.
    • 4:45 and 5:18 - There's a story, there's a main quest line, there are side quests with some repeatable, and there are daily events.
    • 6:05 - at death "you pick a place to respawn", "there's no loss of items"
    • 6:20 - Nuking isn't permanent. Also, you have a chance to deass the area before the bomb lands and goes off. Everything is damaged and can be repaired. Main point is to create a high level PvE zone.
    • 7:15 - stuff about camp building starts
    • 7:50 - when you log off, your camp dissappears and when you come back it reappears. You can also move it. Blueprints!!!
    • 14:50 - An evasive and uncertain answer to the question "what does "next gen" mean when you talk about TES6 and starfield".
    • 16:05 - Current lineup is 76, then starfield, then TES6. No other major releases in between.

    What sucks is you have to choose from a small group of perks. Gone are the days of building an unstoppable tank of wasteland slaying player character.

    pretty sure to get the beta access you have to be preordered at least for now. might as well pay the $5 for a preorder and see what it's like.
