I have a 17 Trd Sport and want to start looking at different suspensions and lifts. I do not off-road and if I ever do it will be very minimal. (Mall-crawler status at the moment) I still have the stock suspension that comes with the truck and don’t have any issues with it. Should a spend a couple hundred for the suspension kits for a 2-3” lift or should I spend closer to a thousand for new shox and leafs.

If you never push your truck off road a spacer kit will work fine.

This kit is probably the minimum to do it "right" (according to TW). It's worked really well for a ton of people here. It's ~$740 for F/R shocks, front springs, and rear 3-leaf AAL with you assembling the fronts. You can find the parts individually a little cheaper if you want to look around but HS has a great reputation and the kit ensures you'll get everything you need.
