Ive been lurking for years on here waiting to buy a Tacoma that I can both daily drive and use for some off road stuff for camping with kids, lugging around snowboards, skis, and my bikes. Sold off my 2001 silverado 1500hd crew cab today which I never drove due to TERRIBLE gas mileage. Ive been daily driving a 1998 CRV which now has 263K miles and is getting pretty tired. Plan is for some 265 all terrains and leveling kit. I have a good buddy in the Tacoma aftermarket light business that should be sending some goods my way.IMG_0400.jpg

    Congratulations!

Depending on your definition of 'terrible gas mileage' you may not be that enthused about the MPG's a Tacoma delivers, especially after a leveling kit and larger, more aggressive rubber. :notsure:

Bam! Pulled the trigger yesterday. Freaking love this thing. My old crew cab Silverado got 10mpg maybe and like 6 mpg towing my old camping trailer. This thing gets it pretty good for a 6 also.
