Anyone have first hand experience with the IROKs? The price point is great and I'm seriously considering them. I have a work truck that I drive every day so my Tacoma is mostly a weekend driver so I'm not terribly worried about not getting 60k miles out of a tire. Curious to hear some experiences as far as balancing, tread wear, and mileage.

I was eyeballing the TSL SX in 36x12.50 for when my 35s need replacing.

I would love the tsl but they seem a little much for me and don't make them in the 285/70/17 so I'm sol. Haven't stepped up to considering 35s on the brand new truck yet lol.

For sure. I waited until it was paid for and not a DD before I did to much cutting and welding on it. Interested in any feedback people have on the supper swamper lineup.

Yeah I'm curious as well. Don't know how much feedback there will be though doesn't seem to be a very popular option on this site.

They’re an incredible off-road tire, but I’d be leery if they’re going to see any significant asphalt time

Last set of Interco tires I had would flat spot while sitting but they pulled great in the dirt, mud, and rocks...I suspect the flat spotting is an issue of days gone by because that was over 10 years ago

I currently run 36x13.5 Iroks on one of my solid axle rigs. Amazing offroad tire, kicks ass in the snow too. I dont even worry about sidewalls unlike running mtrs. They flatspot like a sumbitch, even after sitting for 30 min. Only way I have ever been able to balance them is airsoft bbs. I have run sx, pbr, and mtrs of all sizes up to 42s and iroks are my point and shoot tires for a primarily offroad rig. PBRs on a street driven crawler. I get bored and sell my tires after a year, and Iroks I usually end up running till they are worn out.

Well damn that makes me shy away from them. Doesn't sound like they would be to kind to a low mileage dd

I wouldn't run IROKs on any DD, they would go on a trailer pig for me. As mentioned, they don't balance, they are loud and have poor road manors. We used to use the highway balancing beads on them too with little success.

For really aggressive DD tires I would suggest the Mickey Thompson MTZ's, BFG M/T or the Toyo M/T. Anything else is just a little too "tractor-like"
