Better than one shot short. Syllable's easily replaced, a shot too short is never replaced. At least in my book! Haiku's are great, but the don't have the same affect that a good drink does. Or maybe it's just me. :notsure:

The last 100 years 13 horses have won the triple crown. American Pharoah last won in 2013.

How about gronkowski! All he needed was another quarter mile and he’d have had it. Jockey should have spur’d him a little earlier.

Awesome race. And good job Justified!

We get to see Mike Smith ride every year at Del Mar in San Diego. The first race I saw there included Will Shoemaker as a rider, I watched California Chrome blow competition away before his TC bid, I’ve met American Pharaoh’s jokey, and photographed many races. It’s a great sport if can appreciate it for what it is.

Congratulations to Justify, Mike Smith, and Bob Baffert for a great an exciting Triple Crown!!!

Mine was about 2 years after we bought our house. It had an old Sub-Zero refrigerator with probably one of the earliest in-door water dispensers ever. The water supply line connection came apart somehow and leaked down the back wall to the basement. Here's the worst part: I found out about it because the smoke detector in the basement started making this awful death squawk. I went down to the basement, noted some water seepage in the ceiling. Water poured out of the smoke detector when I opened the battery door. Slightly funny in that sort of nearly crying way.

I used to drink the Yuengling Black and Tan when I would travel to Penn on business. I don't see it much here. Good stuff as I recall.
