Finally bit the bullet and bought some decent suspension. As I'm not knowledgeable in installing such things, any local recommendations?

That I can do. Any takers? If not I guess Mule it is, they're doing alignments now too?

 

Depends on how soon you want to do it.

 

Are the fronts coming already assembled? Looks like you have the strut mounts in the order. If so, then doing the front will be quite a bit easier. The typical rental spring compressor from local auto parts stores can't really safely compress the ARB springs.

I would also suggest ordering a pair of upper control arm bolts (the long one), in case you have to cut out the existing bolt in order to install the UCAs. That's if you plan to attempt a DIY or enlist the help of local TW'ers.

Also keep in mind that Mule's shop rate is higher for customer supplied parts. I'd guess 4-6 hours is what a shop would charge to install, so $600 to $900 to install, not counting an alignment afterwards.....

 

Not sure on the alignments. When I was last at Mule (maybe a few months ago) they weren't performing alignments. Probably worth a quick phone call.

They are doing alignments now.... They have it setup in the old storefront location

 

Yes I had them assemble the coilovers, seemed like a no brainer for now. Till I want to swap too 886s at least

If you're looking to have it done, I'd definitely suggest both of the professional shops suggested. They're both good. If you'd like some help and a space to do it, I'd be happy to help, but I'm probably not able to free up the garage till the beginning of July. Got me a bumper to build.
