Well, me younger brothertown did it again. So the other day he sends me a photo and just texted Toulouse Lautrec. I then replied, “hell yeah, drinking, stoning, boning and living it up.” He didn’t reply. So today we’re talking on the phone and towards the end of the conversation he asks, “how did you like the Toulouse Lautrec?” I then replied, “cmon, I introduced you to his work and you know he was drinking, stoning and...” he then laughed. He then says it was his rendition of one of Lautrec’s paintings. I was floored. I’m so proud of him.

Great work! I like the colors and how they contrast to each other; excellent choices.

My only suggestion: the first thing I’m drawn to is the cat’s mouth. Maybe it’s intentional, maybe it’s not? In either case, some shading to soften the outline would help the mouth from punching too hard.

Like I said, fantastic work and I look forward to seeing what else you post! Thanks for keeping creativity alive.

Been working on some taco portraits. I have them listed here on TW: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/custom-taco-and-other-vehicular-type-portraits.553785/

I also just found out today that I'll be installing some mosaics at a place in town, which is great because I realllllly need the money lol. Trying to avoid disability by all means but I really need to quit my job so I'm hoping this will allow me to safely do so :/ boo. Anyways, It'll be my first time making a decent amount of money making art. The most I've made is $1000 for a piece. In the end the profit equated to $3 an hour... yikes. I did love drawing our taco though  I'm confident the next portrait I do will be much better than this one

Not the safety police, but I agree, power tools can get out of hand real fast. Get yourself a workmate table. You can clamp stuff on it or with it.
