you could. I believe the 94s were carburated though. So be aware. I had a 95.5 2wd, and it was OBD1 fuel injected. Pain in the butt

no one has OBD1 readers anymore. I had a check engine light, and had to use a paperclip to jump the wire harness to get it to go away. Turned out the weld had rusted on both sides of the cat, but I didnt know that..

 

Get a 5lug 2nd gen and lower it. If I still had mine I’d do it

 

can only go so far before you would need to notch the frame.

Also he has kids. Where will they sit?

Where’d you see that? As far as I know they only offer 3/16” steel (with or without bracing) or 1/4” aluminum

 

True...although I think they did make a dc 5 lug for a few years

I was mostly messing around with lowering it, any 5 lug Tacoma would be solid. I Haven’t looked in a while but maybe an XJ that you could use as a trail rig after you find the replacement. Not sure how cheap they are going for right bow
