They would welcome your input. You can use your same name. If you join please go to the thread I posted. People are actually buying oem 2017 Pro grilles, for big $$$, since they cannot get 2018 Pros. Looks like Toyota dealers now will only sell them to Pro owners with a current vin.

Watch a few YouTube videos, mine came with ZERO instructions. Get a 10mm socket & ratchet or 10mm nut driver, a T30 Torx tip driver, a LARGE Phillips screwdriver, a scribe (to line up nut plates for wind deflector) and a tube of silicon. What takes the most time is mounting the air deflector and lining up all the nut insert/backing plates. I did it, by myself, in less than two hours.

No. I put up each piece individually. First, each side, then the back 1x1, then the front w/wind deflector. Then a rib near the middle. The key is to not tighten it all down too soon but you will be moving your ladder from one side to the other, frequently. It would have went quicker with a helper but I didn't have one available.

Only assemble like 3 or so bars on the ground, making sure that you don’t install cross bars that will block the mounting pads. Get a 3/4” punch, it will save you so much time and make the install cleaner. Don’t use the wood drill bit like in the pictures. Make sure you reinstall both weather strips before you silicone any holes. After silicone and spacers are in place I lifted the rack on by myself, but laid a moving blanket down on the roof to keep anything from scratching or denting the opposite side.

You should not notice any difference unless you already had some howl caused by your lift. The only difference you would notice is if you had vibes/howl related to the increased angle from your lift. The carrier bearing drop kit is intended to minimize the change in angle due to the lift. So, if you don’t hear any howl it is doing its job.

Have OEM rack so all mounting holes are cleaned out and ready. No roof seals but may add later or just the front and rear sections after install but I do have a 3/4 hole punch. Thanks

If you never heard any vibes or howl then you would not notice any difference with the carrier bearing drop. That said, at least your angles are now closer to stock so less stress on the diff.
