Crunk some kitchen tunes as I plated up some dinner for the tribe.

Carrots, corn, collards and chuck roast. Used some Pitfaced BBQ Hot Meat Massage on the chuckie.....excellent flavor.

Great pics. If RR wasn't such a dink I'd say great tune, but I can't hear it without thinking how much he fucked over The Band. Great songwriter for a few minutes back in the day but selfish prick.

    Thanks.

I normally don't get into his stuff........but this particular song brings back some great memories where it was playing in the background.

I was also enjoying some other tunes as things were coming together with this meal.

Fried apple pies is what I've known em as all my life. Old timers use dried apples but we cut up fresh and put butter sugar and cinnamon in a pot and covered it on med low heat for a half hour or so. Dough is ~4 cup flour 1/2 cup shortening 1/4 sugar 1 cup water. Rolled thin (thinner the better) cut, fill, fold, fry

Damn. How do I follow that?

Paella? Tonight’s dinner. Used my plow disc pan. It was almost a disaster:)

    That looks delicious.

I really want to try my hand at Paella.

I wonder if a really large cast iron wok on the grill would work ?

    Slept late this morning.....bigtime late.

Getting some breakfast ready for my peeps. Lazy cooking.....figured I'd cook bacon in the oven while I watch television and sip coffee.

Since it's going in the oven.....why not kick it up a notch ?

After pics will follow once it's finished.

I'll likely never cook thick bacon any other way from now on....broiler pan with rib rub....especially this rib rub......in 375 degree oven.

Cheesy scrambled eggs....ugly as hell but tasted great.

Wife wanted her's on a toasted sammich.

    Salsa on eggs for me.

Mennonites here make a "fry pie" that is really good. I had a cherry one at the local farmers market. It was really good!
