For those wondering if you can do oil changes at the intervals Toyota suggest

Not saying you're wrong, if you like 10k intervals or even 15k, your truck, your maintenance.

I do it at every 8k just because its free, but we have yet to see any issues since toyota switched to longer intervals.

My biggest fear is skipping an oil change now, if a customer misses it, they can go 32k which is way too much.

Waiting for that ignorant dingleberry to show up, ignore mountains of anecdotes and blackstone reports, and quote his 16 years of selling dashboard jizz remover wipes as the reason why he is confident you should change your oil every 5k miles and how everyone in the usa drives severe service.

Just the kids that got engrained with the Jiffy Lube hype and they think they are smarter than the engineers/tribologists that wrote the owners manuals.

Even in the early 90s my Hondas had moved to 7500 OCIs. Over 20 yrs ago.

My first truck had no engine oil filter, used single wt. non detergent oil, an oil bath air cleaner, no turn signals, no back up lights, no seat belts, no power anything. But it had a push to start pedal. In the floor.

Yet I've managed to never lose a motor and adapt to modern oils and OCIs. :D

You are a bit older than me lol. My first truck was a 69 Chevy short wide. It was nine years old when I got it. I changed the oil in that truck every 5K, just like they told me to do. Never had an issue following the owners manual.

Well I didn't say I bought the truck new. :p

    But I did own GTO #104 as a 2nd owner w/under 30k mi.

Which introduced me to several fine LEOs.

I got a letter from Toyota reminding me to get my free oil change at 5000 miles. I took it to the dealer and he told me it didn't need it. Bring it back at 10,000. Okay whatever

OP, thanks for posting your oil analysis. Good to know after Toyota's recommendation of 10K mi the oil still has lots of life left.
