Ive seen firsthand what ebay turbos do to engines when the grenade.. Its not pretty.

The only good turbo setup is one that is pieced together and is mostly custom...

Its an ebay turbo... Its not a well known brand like Garrett, Precision, Turbonetics, BorgWarner... etc.

These POS ebay turbos have a track history of destroying engines. I personally, dont have any experience putting them on anything, because I run quality turbos. But, I have seen what they do to cars....

bruh you are terribly misled, turbo and super charger both compress air witch add heat , they just use different power sources to do so

i would do supercharger because its a continuous amount of power it produces boost at idle and just keeps producing more, where as a turbo you have to wait for it spool up and if you get the LCEngineering supercharger its built the same way as the trd one and doesnt have any harmful effect on the longevity of the motor. ive been planning on getting one for my five lug after i do long travel. imo its the better all around choice for power all across the board. :burnrubber:

LCEnginnering also makes a turbo kit for the same motor assuming you have the 2rz

hes right, ebay turbos are crap. its like buying a name brand lawn mower at home depot. its not gonna be the same as buying the real thing at the real dealer. best bet is to set it up your self or find someone that knows a bunch about turbo systems. who can help you in that decision, but plz do not buy the kit. and dually, what would be the best compression ratio for the 2rz for like 15 to 20lbs of boost?
