Anybody have a link to some good buckle straps for a decent price that they've used in place of the Velcro?

Do Tepui tents come standard with the grey travel cover as shown in the pictures? Are there options for trading for black? Problem is I was prolly gonna buy through a third party since there are coupons.

The Tepui Baja Series and Explorer Series all have grey covers. The Ruggedized models come with black covers. Because they are packaged at the factory it’s not possible to trade covers for a different color than what comes with the tent. Replacement covers are available and sometimes you can find people interested in trading.

I can get you the tents, or a replacement cover with the 10% discount if you are interested.

This. I have a ruggedized tent, which comes with a black cover, unfortunately I had to wait 6+ months for stock to come back in of the black covers. My original ripped and separated from the zipper. Seems everyone buying regular tents with grey covers wanted the black cover for cosmetic ‘looks’ and it was sold out for ever.

Size wise was ok for my wife and I, but then we got two dogs. So i want bigger inside for maybe dogs, or the enclosed annex for them. No real complaints with the 2783 RTT.

Hey all. Need some help supporting the load in my truck. I have a sr5 dcsb with a shell. When I put the rtt on and load it up I am sagging low in the back. I am not interested in lift at this time. What are you all using?

1.5" AAL from wheelers will do the trick. Thats what i'm running and it prevents sagging when loaded with the shell, tent, drawer system, and all my other shit back there.

Don’t turn away options by saying you don’t want a lift, other than a beefier leaf pack with a higher spring rate, you’ll need a lift to offset the weight. Either AALs, which will lift, or a new spring pack.

Your other option is to run air bags. Firestone and ride right have options. Do the daystar cradles with whichever bags you choose.

Most of us run lifts. But for a stock height the bags might be the best option for you. Do you have plans to off-road on trails? Or are you sticking to fireroads? You won’t need a lift for the latter.

True. I guess they’re softer than normal, but I would hesitate to classify them as an alternative to bags.

They’re designed to be bump stops, with the occasional tension and bumping. Where as bags are designed for constant weight and compression.
