Weather says 100% chance of rain on Sunday. But I guess that doesn’t really mean much out here. 100% chance it will rain somewhere anyway.

I am going to be in Telluride for the Bluegrass Festival next week, and putting together a run on Wednesday 6/20. Super excited because this is the first time the passes have been OPEN while I am down there. If anybody else wants to join, that would be awesome!!

The plan is to take Imogene Pass from Telluride to Ouray, then down to Ophir Pass back up and around. This will likely be an all-day trip as the trails take about 3 and 2 hours respectively, and we will definitely want to stop several times to take in the views.

According to Trails Offroad, San Miguel County has taken steps to keep Ophir Pass open during the fire closure. If this changes, I will likely do Imogene both ways, or Last Dollar Road coming back.

Sunday would work for me. Im trying to get my wheels put on today but I had to order lug nuts that are supposed to come in today. Have had the damn wheels sitting in my office for a week waiting on my truck to be done. It never occurred to me in the time to check on lug nuts.

Its always the simple, small shit that causes the biggest problems.

Did you have any trails in mind you where considering?
