I understand the reasoning behind them, and believe me I don't have any issue with the fundamental concept of an HOA or the idea of following rules.

The problem is that basically all members are at the mercy of a select few who have little to no vetting and get access to a vast array of tools for what amounts to systematic bullying.

The community rules often get written by people who don't really understand the ramifications of vague wording in a legal context. And usually they can change them randomly and there is no review or arbitration needed.

That's why I have a strong dislike for them. And yes, contracted companies are even more satanic.

 

There’s a few that are floating around on there that are pretty solid. I’m going to keep on saving for now

So I went to surprise Toyota to get my 30k service and I came home and noticed that a chunk of paint was missing from my bumper about the size of a quarter. I called the dealer, thinking they would tell me I did it and they wouldn’t do anything for me. Well they said the reviewed the servallience Video and saw me drive in and my bumper had no damage. They said they watched the truck go all over the dealership and when it exit the car wash and the damage was visible. I knew it wasn’t there before because I only hand wash and wax my truck so I know every scape and imperfection. Anyways. They took good care of me and repaired my bumper no questions asked. They also provided me a shuttle to and from my house in verrado (Buckeye). So here is my good experience with surprise Toyota figured I would share.

 

I am also a fan. It must be a pretty advanced system to see the damage like I said it was no bigger than a quarter.

 

Too much? I know most of you have no boundaries.

 

Good to hear positive feedback on a dealer when they do right by you without having to be hounded or needing to escalate things.

Just sitting out front of 5th Estate Tattoo and I hear nasty little growl followed by boost and then the blowoff. It was all coming from a Fiat 500 abarth.
I have no doubt this is a quick little FIAT.
