You'll find away to make it work. I broke my left foot back in high school but that didn't stop me from driving my '76 VW Scirrocco.
Really it's just the first gear starts that are difficult, from there you can shift clutchless. Down shifting with some creative rev matching and your set.

Ouch that really sucks man, and I am going to assume its your left...

You will be down for a bit but I am sure you can figure out pushing in the clutch in no time at all.

I just went through ACL surgery on my right knee, I was locked straight for 2 weeks which was a no go. Then a few more weeks until I could even get in the drivers seat.

Could be worse, wish you luck.

Ouch, sympathy bro. In these early days, clutch cancel to start then float the gears...peeps will laugh thinking you can't drive a clutch but, fuck em with a brick...sideways.

Or just get a short stick to work the clutch with your left arm...get creative

My 2017 has a very slight squeaky clutch. Doesn't happen all of the time. Probably about 35% of the shifts. Truck has 4500 miles on it. Any ideas how to reduce the squeak?

Use Disc Brake Grease on all the pivot points and it will cure the old barn door creak sound

I drove 4 hours to buy my "new to me" 2009 DC 4x4 MT with 115,000 miles. I've had it a week and I love it. Now to mess with the chirping TO bearing...

Yeah, the same thing happened to me at 10,000 miles and Toyota replaced some parts. It is happening again at 28,000 but very subtle. I might just have them fix it again when I go back in for my next service.

Taking my truck in for service and wanted to see if something was normal before I bring it up. When you guys with 3rd gen manuals are at a complete stop, and feather the gas, does it come on kind of like a scraping sound?

No. My 4 cyl 5 spd just sounds like a vehicle with a manual.

The sound is very faint, but if listen closely I can hear it before the rpm noise takes over

Are you sure it's not the rush of air through the throttle body? I can hear the air rush in my TB when I just barely tap the pedal. It's loudest if you are next to a building, or large stationary object.

What spots are the pivot points?
    Thanks

It is pretty self explanatory once you get to looking under there. Those long wooden Q-Tips help alot along with pushing the clutch pedal in and out with your left hand.

No I don’t think so because at certain rpms when I’m on the throttle and accelerating hard, I hear the same noise at about 4K rpm, unless what you explained can still happen then.

Got just over 1.5k on mine and the shifter is finally starting to wear in, feels much nicer now.
