Do to the cost of steel going up. I'm forced to raise my price to $45 with free shipping for each plate. This is a new version of the old one with a few improvements to ease installation.

What's the difference between the old and new?

 

my guess is the modifications were made to accept extended cab differences with the seat retracting mechanism. Jon and I figured out that the bolt for the retracting mechanism and a small spacer could be used instead of the original mounting points for the passenger side only.

 

Yes it's for the extra cab version and also drilling into seat track is not required like before.

The updated design only makes installing the passenger side easier. The drivers side still requires a hole to be drilled into the seat track.

 

Will that work with non-ext cabs? I think only ext cabs have the bolt for sliding the seat forward. May be wrong.

 

They all have the hole on the passenger side. Drivers side has to be drilled still.
