Is there a Toyota dealer in NOVA that doesn't suck ass? My truck under Jack Taylor results in missing items from my interior and a brand new door ding.

 

Chantilly isnt bad. But ive only had 1 service done there. Leesburg is expensive

I.ve been very happy with Leesburg. That said, I've got the 75K everything plan, so I haven't paid for anything.

 

Looking for some advice...

I’d like to spray down the engine compartment. Is it ok to do so and is there anything I need to be careful of? Today’s run at Sleepy Creek has made quite a mess not to mention the awful stench.
I’m also looking for how to care for the fender flares. I fought with a small tree...and lost!

 

But they’re slow as FUCK!

 

I hose mine down indiscriminately. I've even used the power washer. That said, I wait till everything is dry before I run it.

Yeah we were talking about it on the drive home from AOAA. It'll still cost about the same as just buying a set from 4xinnovations, but at least we'll have some cool tools by the end of it! Not sure if we're up to the task of making more than just ours It's probably going to be a big pain in the dick

 

I usually leave mine running while hosing down the engine compartment.

 

Isnt that not good. You should wait for it to cool. The headers could warp?

 

I wait until it's cool (like on a saturday morning before I've driven it) and douse the engine with a can of gunk engine cleaner. Let it chill for 15 min then rinse off with a garden hose (no sprayer or anything). Then wipe down the surfaces with 303 aerospace protectant.

 

I go to Koons Arlington, they aren’t bad. Took them 3 tries to fix my check engine light, made some sense after they explained why. I have left there with a shop rag in the engine compartment twice...need to start checking before I leave.

Yes, yes it is. Just fyi for everyone else it is rutted the hell up with down trees and stuff.

 

I dont have the option of 4xinnovatons. They dont have any for 5th gens. Plus way more fun to build our own.
