I looked around for this combo and found a couple pics before buying mine. Here is a thread for anyone in the future who is wanting one. I love it so far. It's been from Oklahoma to Montanta with me and now on the way back home. I've camped out of it for the past 3 weeks and worked out of it for the month before. Awesome purchase. This is the last trip on these tires and stock suspension. ST Maxxs will be in route when I get back. Anyone running the 255/80/17's? I'll search again but just in case someone reading this has some feedback.

For those that follow me on Instagram (greyfoxindustries) you've seen the other pictures and I'll post more later.

I actually saw one in Vancouver yesterday. The land of NO softoppers, or very little.

He also had fog light anytime mod - I gave him the nod

Thanks! I love it. I need to get more Velcro. I didn't prep it properly the first time.

We don't have hardly any here in OK either. People constantly ask about it.

looks great! I have one too I love my softopper. Yep I had to add more Velcro to the front window. How did it do holding out the moisture from the snow? Mine is only about 2 months old, barely.

Front window is snapped in to the bed. The tailgate window (rear) needs more Velcro. It held out snow just fine.

Thank you for the pics. Tan softoppers on mgm are rare, but it's one of my favorite combos

To OP, How is the water penetration either driving in a rain storm or camping in a downpour?

It's been great. Water doesn't penetrate at all.

Any pics with the soft top part off? Like just the skeleton?
Planning to weld together my own like this, so can switch between a shell and a rack :)

I hadn't seen mag grey with the tan soft topper, but after seeing these pictures I'm really liking it and seriously considering it.

Extremely simple install. Two aluminum rails that go on the bedsides and clamps that hold those down. Then basically all you do is button the sides of the softopper down and there are three buttons at the front of the bed. The back window can be held down with sticky velcro provided and it has a round aluminum pole that goes thru the bottom of it and pops in between the aluminum rails that are mounted on the bedsides.

First time install should be maybe an hr at most, and after that it should be half that. You can then leave the rails on the bedsides and just lift up or drop down the topper whether you want it up or down. It can all be done by yourself!

I can snag some pics of mine tomorrow if youd like. Not sure if there are any differences between the 1st and 2nd gen softoppers.

Do first gens have the rails on the insides of your bed for tie downs?

I ended up selling my Leer 122 for this Softopper and have not looked back.
