I signed up and have driven a few people around. Mostly to the airport and into downtown. I did it as a supplement but thankfully it has not been necessary.

I did get picked up by an Uber driver in a Raptor once. Cool guy. He was just driving while between jobs. He didn’t need the money, just board at home.

I drove through a small village, that I didn't even know existed, on my way home from the truck show today...

The name of that village is East Texas...

    I am completely serious!

How long does it take to drive from one side of PA to the other? It'll probably take 1 day and 2 hours to get from one side of Texas to the other.

Out of 6 beers that I've tried, I like Heineken the most. I feel like this is the beer for sophisticated people.

There are better beers out there! But if it's Heineken you want then the bar where I work serves that...

What kind is the best. You work at a bar, so you're a pro at this. My dad only gives me a beer on special occasions.

I did a calculation once. I was thinking of working the early morning airport shift to get extra moneys for parts. The gas price in Canada makes it very not feasible. When I added in the cost of additional maintenance, even doing it myself (which I do), I was not breaking even.

The official beer in Texas is bud light. That shit is gross, and my dad says it's designed for red-neck idiots.

Almost all light beers are gross. They are water with yellow coloring and bubbles

@PennSilverTaco,@Jamesboy2233, and @El Duderino, I forgot to tell y'all that we just dropped off the truck at the dealer for its paintjob. I'm on foot for 1-2 weeks at least.

I have been a part time Uber driver for almost two years now. I was fortunate to be able to drive my taco to start with since the minimum year was 2005 and a 4 door vehicle is required. This was August 2016, when Uber opened up service here in Billings, Montana.

I did well enough that I bought a 2010 Prius soon after, but kept the truck for recreational use and a backup rig for winter. I did really well with it when most Uber drivers don’t have 4x4 vehicles to Uber in winter. The truck was unfortunately T-boned in March when a moron ran a red light, but it was an awesome Uber setup when the roads were too bad for the Prius.

I’m hoping to get a better full time job pretty soon and maybe no longer do Uber, but it can be a good side gig. I’ve grossed about 6k so far this year.
