    Hey guys,

How many inches of height do you have between your floor of your truck, with or without bedmat, and the toneau do you have? I know the depth of the bed but I was wondering how much space I'll lose with a tonneau cover. I'm trying to figure out what fridges I can fit under a tonneau cover. I want the bed covered for a variety of reasons but if I can't fit a fridge I'll have to look at different options. Looking to put a midrise rack on top of the tonneau cover and a fridge underneath it. Thanks in advance

Looking for the exact same thing, I do have my tonneau already (retraxone mx), but just started thinking about what fridges would fit underneath with slide hopefully. Currently sitting with 18.5" from bed to cover.

There are several that will fit. That retrax is expensive. How much was yours?

So many tonneau options. I think you're better off picking what you like and then working with the measurements. Or at least narrow it down and then try to get some opinions.

Got the discount from the fellow member at autoanything --- think it was $1100 all said and done? I originally wanted to go with trifold, but decided on getting the slide and couldn't be happier

I have the fold-a-cover G4 and it sits on top of the bed rails so whatever the height the rails are. A lot of the hard covers are installed that way, those that are flush mounted with the top of the bed rails would cause you to lose some height.

The only thing about the folding cover is being able to open it up with a Mid rise bed rack.

With OEM cover and bed mat you're looking at 18 1/2" usable clearance. The mat is 3/8" thick.

It came on my truck from the factory. Window sticker listed it as $600.00 if I remember right.

Edit: I dug out the window sticker. It was $650.00

Yes, it's a tri-fold. I can't really say if it leaks or not. It lives in the garage and doesn't rain much here anyway. I've been camping when it rained but I don't have anything under it that will hurt to get wet so I didn't bother to check. It has a rubber seal all the way around so it probably does okay.

Last question, does it lock??? Use the same key as the tailgate?

It doesn't have a lock but the release is underneath. You can't open it if the tailgate is locked.

No I’m not going to have a fridge slide. I’m going to use a fridge/freezer in the back and a small cooler in the can. The freezer will chill ice packs and food for the cooler which will house snacks and drinks. Fridge/freezer will primarily be used for cooking and storage on this particular trip

See edit for what cooler I fit under the cover.

But be aware if you have a rack over the cover most of them make it where you can no longer open the cover and since most fridges are top access you'll be dragging it out to open then need to fight the cord etc.

My ARB fridge goes in the back seat of my truck. But I don't use the cover while camping .

Most dual zone fridges are rather large. Not sure you'll fit one under the cover

Why couldn’t I open The OEM cover with a mid rise rack? I’m also considering the rack for the short bed. Since I have a long bed that would give me some more distance to mess with
