Let's See Your Cats!!!

We have 3. I’m at my limit but MrsTaco wants another one. She’s enamored with orange cats now for some reason?
I told her no more adoptions until Augi passes. (She’s almost 15 now but I’m hoping we have her around for a while more than her brother Ponce.)

 

Harry is in my spot on the sofa. I don’t think he cares...

 

No kidding!!! If either of us goes on any kind of vacation (2 days or more) were on her shit list for at least 2 days after getting back home. I think some people don’t give cats enough credit. They are smart enough to act dumb, when needed, to make people think they’re dumb.
I sure hope she knows how much I care. There was a few times this past week that I had her snuggle up against me closer than she ever has and she fell into a deep sleep. That’s a kitty feeling at her worst and probably feeling vulnerable. she probably felt that was the safest place to be.

I think her snuggling up with you during this time just shows how much she trusts you. I’d consider it a compliment.

 

I totally agree! I think she knows how worried I am about her. I guess we were providing comfort in each other while she was getting through this. I think part the reason I like cats so much is their ability to help heal wounds- god only knows I’ve had a lot of healing to deal with over the years.

3 years ago we brought home the Rotten Kreacher, sometimes known as Sterling:



He was pretty close to death here, full of 2 different kinds of worms and unable to walk from weakness. With a liberal application of medications, food, and money, he was able to grow up into the little jerk he is today.

You can see the resemblance more so when he hasn’t just been combed out.

I think we should have stopped at two. Prior to the third cat the two had a great relationship. When the third came in it ruined the dynamic and the brown cat had to be more aggressive to stand up for herself. Now they no longer cuttle but they are all three independent and play but the grey cat and the third are constantly stocking each other and jealous of our affection.

Who's cats are obsessed with hair ties? My cat loves them, I hide them around the house and she'll play with it all day. She even cries for me to fling it across the room.
