But think about it, why get a quiet boring tesla when you can get a previa with the ear piercing shrik of a SC 4cyl toyota engine. And the money you save by not buying a tesla can make a really cool previa

I live half an hour from the Tesla factory and I pass by it on the freeway every time I go to San Jose.

The new ones aren’t all that expensive. We ordered a Model 3 and after the federal tax incentive, it’s only about $25,000-$30,000 (or the price of a base model Tacoma)

Fuck me... I’m trying to establish my own LLC in the State of California and it costs $800 every freakin’ year.

Meanwhile the other states are only $35-60 every year. Ridiculous.

Don’t you have to operate in the state that you’re registered in? I just assumed so, so I have no idea.

Well the rest of your day is now gone, actually you may have to for an LLC, but I'm not sure. I know S corps and C corps don't have to. Lots of businesses register in Delaware, but if you intend to sell a physical product you might have to register in your state. In which case Id just pass go and declare bankruptcy now since Cali will just take all your money under the guise of building a more gluten free dog park or some such nonsense.

Washington has relatively few of them, but King county has lots and they're all very nice. AZ realizes dogs just turn to a bubbly soup and bans them from being on park paths and walkways after the first 100° day and fines the owners if they are as it is painful for the dogs. Night or early morning walks are best

That sucks. I don’t make nearly enough to pay for a California LLC license.

You want to know how ridiculous environmentalists gets here? In San Francisco there’s something called the Museum of Ice Cream, and there’s this room with a pit full of plastic sprinkles (kind of like a ball pit) that you can jump into and take pictures with.

They’re petitioning the museum to get rid of it because the fake plastic sprinkles “are bad for the sea life” from the excess of sprinkles that come off your clothes when you leave.

Seriously? You’re going to freak out over that insignificant amount of plastic? You should see the runoff coming from factories and the industrial sector.

My folks used to go fishing near the North Bay where the SF bay meets the land back in the 80’s. Today it isn’t recommended you eat fish caught in the San Francisco Bay because of the high levels of Mercury.

Speaking of LLC’s... I should just register in Vermont. I already have a Vermont registered truck why not register my company there. LOL

I am, that’s what I used to do before I came on here. I used to flip things wholesale.

An LLC is completely different though. If I sell my product and for example someone’s truck catches on fire and my product is found at fault, I am liable for that and can be sued. If I had a Limited Liability Corporation, however, the company is liable and I, as an individual, am protected under U.S. Consumer Protection laws.
