    It was a sarcastic joke.
But between Y2kbaja's garage and my back yard we have done pretty well on my front, looking forward to more future backyard fab work.

    A few more pics.
After hitting the track at way faster speeds then before I see how you guys keep building bigger and better. Mine is nowhere near as built as some of your trucks but for what I do Its been a huge improvement so far, and all from a wrecked truck I thought i would never drive again.
After hitting high speeds in the dirt I see a roll cage and harness, race seats at some point in this build. stock seat belts suck ass.
The rear is in serious need as well. I don't think think i need links though. But I love love jberrys rear end.lol

they make the uniball cups for the balljoint c-clamp style. probably work alright if they arent rusted at all.

did you have a picture of where the spring cup was machined on yours?

Anyone lost braking performance while wheeling? Went for a quick blast through a pretty bumpy and whooped out section last night and at one point I went to hit the brakes and had almost nothing there. Pumped the brakes and pressure came back and stayed and no issues the rest of the trail or today on the road. Was just weird. No leaks in the system and fluid is full. It was almost like the bouncing around somehow separated the pads from the disk so I had to pump it a few times

    LOL.
No not confused, for what i do his setup might be just right. No need for links im not going to be racing through the desert. Only LT,d the front for more travel and well it was all fucked up any way, way more then a flat tire.
Im torn on SUA as the drag over the rocks might not be what I want. , but after get a little taste of LT , im really on the fence now.
But come on jberrys rear is sexy and you know it. that Currie 9

only brake fade I experienced was going down a steep grade fully loaded towing a 20 ft boat. upgraded to BBK kit and zero issues, also did the ABS kill not that that will help with brake fade. brakes are like shocks if the oil gets hot you get less performance.

I was worried about that as well with going sua, but after a few crawling trips I have found I drag the rear shackle mount far more than I do the leafs. Just get a beefy ubolt plate like the ones from dmz and you're good

Also recommend flushing out brake fluid if you have experienced this as the fluid is toast now.

Wasn't brake fade. It was 5 min into a 20 min loop on a cool rainy day. And brake feel came back as soon as I pumped them back up.

No bbk yet since I'm only on 16" rims, but that will likely change if I jump to 37's on my next tires since no one makes them in a 16" rim. And I'll probably be wanting some upgraded brakes to stop them.

the rear mount was my worry not the leafs so much. That mount is so low. DMZ is the kit I would go if i do pull the trigger. Its te best kit at the price IMO.

Fluid is fresh as of the last 6 months or so. And wasn't fade due to over heating.
Yeah they hang low. Before my next crawling trip I am going to try to redo my frame cross bracing and add some extra support to the shackle hangars

Figured while on the shock questions.

I've got factory length king 2.5s, 650lb coils and factory ucas. 4 cylinder with plate bumper and winch. Takes 2 people to move it and it's still pretty dam heavy.

Now, I have 18s on e load 33s. The ride is absolutely horrible, so dam stiff. The shocks feel like they rebound way to quick and pull the truck down with it making the ride worse.

I will be lowering them some more due to the fact that my CVs arent liking it, when I ordered them they are set to I belive 2.5" of lift right? They had the 600lb coils on and i sent them back for 650s but they did not readjust the height for the heavier spring.

    What would make it unharsh/stiff

Just stock length king 2.5s is all that isnt factory
