Ehh, lots of times lawyers can get around that if you're found to be directly at fault for the product, especially being the only one employed haha

CA does everything it can to tax entrepreneurs and small business owners into oblivion/bankruptcy. My fiance owns a pliates studio here and it's insane that she's able to turn a profit amidst all the taxes and fees. You have to have a really solid business model and huge startup funds/support to make it work.

What are you creating the LLC for? When I freelanced full time I never went LLC, may have eventually but I never made quite enough money to make it worth the costs at the time. But now CA is catching on to that and if you live in LA you have to pay a ridiculous 'freelancer' tax that will probably get adopted by other cities in the near future.

If you do anything remotely out of the ordinary for a living here then they'll find a way to get more out of you for it. And they wonder why everyone is fleeing the state for Oregon, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, etc.

Yeah. I’m just trying to cover all my bases in case, ya know? Better be safe than sorry.

My Cadillac horn business is starting to take off, I still do it on a small scale but there’s so much demand for them I’ve begun hiring some people to help me because I’m overwhelmed. I do power door conversion systems too - a lot of custom automotive electrical work basically.

I consider electrical items in vehicles to be “high risk” because of the inherent implications that are associated with electrical systems.

I’m just looking into insurance for myself.

Could you please explain to me how you got the two pics in your sig to sit side by side? I am trying to edit mine and it is not playing nice..

Took a lot of trial and error. I went into Photoshop and got the exact maximum picture size in pixels and split them in half in Photoshop CS6.

According to the TacomaWorld overlords, the maximum size is:

    Max width: 700px
    Max height: 145px

Anyone ever replace their own windshield glass? There's a big ass hairline crack in my E320 and I don't want to pay Mercedes or Safelite the ridiculous amount of money they want for a new one.

It sucks to do yourself unless it is like the cruiser and held in with a rubber seal. But the taco and your merc are held in with butyl rubber and sealer and has molding pressed into that as well. It is a pain. I had my taco windshield done for 160, I'd assume you could have the merc done for 200 or less.

Makes sense. It’s that Butyl stuff camper windows are held in with right? Stuff sucks to work with.
