Washed and waxed it today! I wish these tires didn’t throw so many rocks though
    :annoyed:
Also, anyone recommend any bed rail caps? I don’t have any and since I’m rocking nothing on the back indiffinitely I thought I’d get some BA484991-3B6D-4ED4-BF5A-AF6F9EAC294A.jpg

Got a tube of "Monte approval" lithium grease with moly-graph. I see why he likes the stuff it's pretty smooth from the Red N' Tacky I'm used to.

Do it. The cheap $100 plastic DeeZee trailer tongue toolbox is the best toolbox I've ever owned.

    rerererer.jpg

I had a metal Delta crossover box I painfully restored years ago, but there was just absolutely no space in that thing. The trailer tongue box I have fits all my tools and still has extra room.

Yea, I never liked the traditional truck boxes. But those trailer boxes look really handy for recovery gear and tools at least. I'll probably get a small one. cause of the camping gear and extra stuff I plan on carrying in the bed. How did you mount it? Drill a couple of wholes and used some grade 8 bolts? Lol

I didn’t want to drill into the bed so I bought some Simpson 90 Degree brackets and bolted it to the top of the plastic drop-in bed liner. Not the strongest or most secure option but it gets the job done.

I just meant something like this. Didn’t know if they’d be worth it. Mine look kind of gnarly and there’s protective finish that looks like it’s starting to peel D0FBE052-4B3C-4778-855E-06E0C5CFADEF.jpg

ah. I think that would just wear your paint down under neath them personally similar to how the OEM bed liner does.

Amazingly, 47 psi felt pretty good. Very driveable and I picked up some fuel mileage. The return tank was 17.8.

I'm running SCS F5 3.5 BS and am going after some new tires currently run-in 265/75/16... could I bump it up to 285/75/16? Or will their be way too much rubbing

It's gonna rub because they're almost 33s but it's not a big deal, the 3.5 will keep it off the frame just gotta bash the pinch weld and cut the fender liner a wee bit. 15 min job and a non issue if you don't flex it out
