What speed? I was getting about 20.5 mpg on the highway before I started buying sh!t and fucking with sh!t. That was cruise control at the posted speed. I'm all about mileage. Lol.

Did mine off the dome light circuit, specifically off the contact in the dome light switch and ran new wire down the B pillars to hit the back seats, along the door sils for the fronts. They now come on when doors open, fade/dim as well. Even added the rock lights to this circuit with an additional relay.

    Wanted to accomplish something:
    • Changed the rear brake lines to 1" longer lines to account for the lift. Wife learned how to bleed them or at least her feet did (fathers day gift haha).
    • Re-torqued the lugs after the tire shop mounted them. Some were super tight some were looser, should have been 85 ft lbs but did 89.
    • Cleaned up the new wheels with my citrus cleaner I use for degreasing everything. ZEP from HD. I like it because it is a spray wait a few minutes and rinse with hot water.
    • Update - Just made a sliding window lock for my rear window.
    • Took some measurements to move the trailer wire harness. Could buy a bracket but I can also make one.
    • Now I want to design a tent platform for the bed of the truck. Could buy one but I can also make one.
    • Have to buy the gas hole for the truck, has anyone's cap fell out of their gas hole

I had my wife help me when I installed longer brake lines. I bled all 4 corners, and I was overly cautious and ran a bunch of fresh brake fluid through the system. My wifes leg was ready to fall off by the end of it.

Maybe I should bleed them again as I did not hear her say my leg is tired. I am sure I still have some air in those lines now.. Was looking at one of those bleeder tools but it was done old school. I remember the day when I was a kid with my brother... Seemed like he did that weekly...

Changed the passenger side valve cover gasket of my 07 4.0. First time ever doing anything like this, nerve wracking at times. Glad I was able to crack it open and get a look on the inside since im not the orginal owner. After a few test drives there are no signs of leaking...D3713DE2-9A7C-4675-93A9-3314FECBDA17.jpg566F8847-1B8F-4536-AA79-7E765DEED1EA.jpg

I ran the wires for the rear console lights to the front of the console. I tapped into the illumination wire off the HVAC control to power the led lights when the parking/headlights are on.

    In the works.
Butt implants using lamps given to me by a sponsor a couple of years ago that were collecting dust in my garage.

    Finished pic first:

Started by creating and printing a template in Adobe Illustrator using the dimensions of the lamps:

Template fit perfectly over the back of the lamp so I knew I was good to go to use it for cutting:

Taped the template to the bumper and outlined the inside with a wax marker:

Removed the template leaving an outline of the hole I wanted to cut:

Masking tape around my cut to help prevent paint damage if the cutting wheel slips:

Hole cut (pic was taken before I deburred it:

    Lamp test fitment:

More masking tape added and paint applied to the bare metal:

After the paint dried, I put the lamps in the cut-out and drilled the holes for their mounting screws. Then, connected to the reverse power feed at the trailer connector and then had super bright lamps when in reverse!

Site says it only weights 54 lbs, but it feels like more than that. I am probably just weak AF.

I love the look of it, makes the truck have front end attitude now :cookiemonster:
