Grabbed a small 8k btu on the way home from work this morning to cool the downstairs for the boys. personally, I don’t mind the heat but the little guys shouldn’t suffer because I’m frugal... if it’s mid 80’s and 90’s in June, how bad are the dog days gonna be?

I love the heat. 90-95 degrees with 90% humidity is perfect for me.

Doesn't feel too warm yet, my weather app still shows a heat warning for 1pm to 7pm!

 

I think you’re crazy. I sweat about 5-6 liters of water a day in all my welding gear. I know cuz I drink like 10L throughout the day and don’t piss. Heat is not fun. Winter is the time to melt shit.

 

I'm sure if I was wearing welding gear I'd completely agree! I like to sweat, but probably not that much!

 

If I had nothing to do but sit around a lake or something all day, in shorts or a bathing suit, I'd be fine with the heat. I have to wear work boots, pants and a dress shirt every day and walking a job site. Inevitably, I have to go sit in a meeting afterwards so I do not like the heat at all!

 

My problem is that I work all day in air con and then step outside at the end of the day and it's like walking into a wall.
