Also, do I need to prep the surface or something? Its a little rough. Not sure if I'm supposed to fix that myself, or if it's part of the chroming process. Locally nobody chromes here.

Once this is done, I'll be 100% debadged.

Some of it will get filled during the process, but I can't tell how bad the pitting is on it.. it may make the skull look more "authentic" by having some of the imperfections in it.

    btw... are you a pirate?

Chrome would look the best on my truck i think.

not currently a pirate, but who knows what the future holds in these uncertain times. there was somewhat of a limited selection of designs, and this was the least repulsive to me. the punisher one is a little juvenile IMO.

Bah... I'm in my 30's and still love all that superhero crap! Anyways, either way you finish it, it will look good, but to get it chromed... be prepared to pay!

so can any1 recommend a place to get it chromed? surely one of you went to paint something black, and decided to chrome it instead at some time. I actually think once this is polished up, chromed, and installed it will look pretty badass.

I like it. It's different. I'm still figuring out how to mount my decepticon on the mesh.
