That only looks like it has flex because of the huge fender well gap. It's just an illusion because of the fiberglass bedsides. Tire looks like a 34 or so but it isn't even dropping past the cab.

Idk if you want me to google something or if you want one of my truck?
This the only one I could find lifting the tire. Come wheeling, can see plenty trucks here with more flex than the red one.
33s, same sliders for point of reference, stock leaf pack with toytec AAL, ATO shackle flip, 5100s. My truck.

Nice truck! I get out every now and then, not as much as I wish. Your extension length might be comparable, but that red truck has 15" of wheel travel. Uptravel is part of flex too haha. Plus, I believe it's running 35's

Yeah, he has way more travel. Sua allows way more compression. He could probably flex it way more than he was showing on the ramp, then. I only have a 11" shock. Here's more current pics, 35s, dakars, rear fenders not trimmed at all.

Probably close to full extension, but tire is still on the ground

Sorry I don't have any better ones, no camera crews with us, lol. Had to ask a Jeep guy to send these since his wife was snapping some shots.

I'd like to just share my experience with the board, since I went to two local businesses on Friday that were previously recommended to others on this forum. (That's how I heard of them as well)
Long story short, I have about 15-20k miles on a set of Duratracs, 285s and wanted to get them re-balanced since I had them off of the truck and was going to reinstall them. No real problems with the tires, its just that I hadn't had them re-balanced since they were brand new. I would normally have my friend do them at his house, but his balancer is down at the moment.

So.... I call American Tire in mapunapuna, get the prices, they offer walk in service, road force balance on Lt tires was a little over $20 each. I finish work at 2, race home, load up the tires, getting there before 3. Walk in, guy greets me, I tell him that I'm here to get tires balanced. He tells me that he'd like to see the tires, so we walk outside and he looks at the tires in the bed of the truck from 15' away and says "we don't do tires like that"..

But, I told the girl on the phone exactly what I had and what I wanted done.

"Oh, she's a little green" "I don't want to be responsible..."

    Responsible for what?, I ask.

    "Oh, scratching your wheels"

But my wheels are already scratched up from off-roading! "yeah but...(searching for another bitch-ass excuse)"

So I tell him, look, if you don't wasn't to do it, just say so. "yeah, I don't want to do it."

What a piece of work. Blaming the girl who answers the phone because the workers are either lazy or incompetent. Its not rocket science. I mean, I could understand if I showed up with boggers or some ridiculous tire that they would be apprehensive about guaranteeing that they could get it balanced perfectly. But come on, 285/70r17 all terrains?

Idk, was he worried that I wanted them balanced perfectly or something? He didn't even offer to try, so I don't even know what his reasoning is in turning me away. Maybe he dealt with too many nit-picky Tacoma owners? Regardless, total chicken shit move. The shop wasn't even busy.

So... I call Mod Industries in Sand island, since I've heard their name being thrown around too. Dave was nice and accommodating. Drove straight there from Mapunapuna $40 spin balance for all 4. He mentioned that he was on a job, so pickup in an hour. Came back, they were on time. I had to unload and load by myself, no big deal. The only complaint I would have of them is that the worker put the sticky weights on top of the tape residue from the old stick on weights that were removed. Just a little half-ass. Wheels are now installed and ride fine.

I don't know what kind of equipment they use at Mod, but they put a strip of weight between the spokes where its visible from the outside of the wheel. For $40 I'm not complaining. It just looks tacky. IF something like this matters to you on your nicer cars or expensive wheel combos, there are some balancers like the hunters that will calculate and split the weights to hide behind adjacent spokes to achieve the same balance. I'd suggest finding a shop that uses one of those machines.

    Mod Industries: B+
    American Tire Mapunapuna: F-

Do you have names of the people you dealt with over there at American tire? I'm going to relay this to the people in charge

I might do that next time, unless I can make an inline chamber that attaches to an air nozzle to feed the balls in under pressure.

I'm sorry I do not. The man who I spoke to was a skinny haole guy maybe in his 50s. The only other employee I saw inthe showroom was a heavier set guy who was talking to another customer.
