I certainly don't care about how many miles per tank I get from a cost perspective. No, it's all about the health of the system. MPG is an indicator of a problem to be solved.

If I was worried about fuel costs, I'd be driving a lifted prius with 33s on our adventures.

Getting ready to tighten up the U-bolts. :D

Ps... words of wisdom from a first timer on a leaf Spring pack change... don't park ass in to a wall! Nothing worse than having to raise the jack stands using a floor jack from the sides (or as I was contiplating - from underneath. :|

    IMG_5744.jpg IMG_5743.jpg

Oh, what's the best location for the washers on the bolts for the leaf spring bushings - inside or outside the mounts/shackle?

And just like that, there is my beautiful clean State of Vermont title, it came today two weeks after I got my plates. I know it says registration, but in that state your registration acts as your title. They do not issue titles to vehicles older than 15 years old.

Now to get that EGR valve fixed, the truck driveable, insured, and transfer the Vermont papers to California.

T-Minus 1 year to restore and rebuild the 5-lug to its former glory before the VT tags expire.

I actually overpaid by $6. Lol!

Looks like you are free handing it. What software are you using?

Is your design concept stock tacoma vs modded tacoma?

The top def needs to be rounded off. The suspension looks too much towards the center.

You could make quick work with autocad photoshop or illustrator.

    Good work so far.

What he said, you could literally trace an image of your truck in illustrator as a vector graphic and get the lines perfect.

no the noise is still there but we didnt fix it yet. i'll post a picture of the situation later today for ya. i could be wrong by calling it the inspection plate lol. i was super tired from work. it looks like a "gasket" between the transmission and engine. i dont think it is the TOB cause theres no noise when the clutch is engaged but i'll still have him inspect it to be safe.

I have Illustrator but like Photoshop better.
Why would making it a vector be easier? I'm completely uneducated as far as these programs go

A vector is infinitely scalable, which is ideal for anything you intend to print. I'd learn up on the pen tool
