I'd have to see what the dates would be and if I could get time off from work to go, I don't think it should be an issue though. It would be cool to make the drive up there together

my possible (subject to wife changes) weekends, this would be Driving up Friday and Returning Sunday before 9.
    July 13-15,
July 27-29 (Might have to be back earlier, son goes to scout camp)

August we are usually up camping at some point.
Aug 3-5 (Might need to leave a little later son returns from scout camp)
    Aug 10-12

The trip route could go Plane site first (Friday evening/Saturday morning), then Trains(Saturday), then possibly return other side of the lake and end at Moxie (Sunday) falls. https://www.mainetrailfinder.com/trails/trail/moxie-falls. With lots of dirt logging roads to check out. Depends on Numbers with respect for camping. There is a member on here thats up in the Rockwood area I think. Because of him I learned of a new possible camping location, plus I have seen many pits and clearings that could be called home for the night, although I have yet to do this.

That looks fucking awesome. More in than before, so far this summer atleast it seems that july 27-29th is the only one that would work out for me.

That part where he just started driving through trees and shit I was like man that looks fun.

Plane site just out side of Greenville (on the way in) and Trains are North part of the lake, and Moxie falls is south of the lake.

Should this be renamed to the Northeast lake, train N plane explorations extravaganza?

Also keep in mind that NMW went through some issues with big groups a year or two ago...and at one point all out banned them.... not sure where they are at on groups now. But I wouldn't expect to get a group the size of the waterfall tour through. Your probably best with 3-4 trucks or 5-6 trucks max just to fit in campsites anyway.

You can read up on it here---

I wouldn't want to go with a lg group, but couple small groups of tacos taking over Moosehead would be cool.

Ill have to check with my wife... cause she'll definitely want to come. Only weekend in July I have is the 20-22 and she might be traveling for business. August 3-5 might work, or 24th-26th... also open to a mid-late September timeframe - which might not be bad, could get cool at night but not so hot in the day.
