I wish. I have this trip and then a short turn around before a solo trip into Western Maine with the woman for a week. And then in out of vacation.

Plus this truck is still in it's growing phase. I got it to the point this year where I can run my more extreme declasidecla six roads for fishing and woodland stuff.

Still need to get wheels with more suitable spacing, bump stops, sliders, 3 more plates, at least a few more recovery points if I can't get the bumper on asap, swing out ect.

And brakes. By damn I'm doing a brake upgrade. The floats add 20mph to any road. Getting up to speed is cake. Slowing down is a other story.

Plus I'm morally against the term overland. My family is from the sticks. We just call it traveling. haha.

Next year I will be doing a Katahden trip. It will not be a straight pass through. There will be wheeling off it. Will be rigged vehicles only. Parts and tool list will be required. More on that come this fall of anyone is interested.

Did that at the very end of 2017. Very fun day trip with a little planning and you're willing to push hard
Still a total noob at TW forums btw, hopefully these pictures work :D
The beginning (truck said +1 degree F)

    Katahdin out in the distance

Crossing the top of the Rip dam

Tons of side roads to blast around on if theres not too much snow (I hit it just right after the first storm of the year, little less than a foot on the ground)
Probably best pic of my taco to date. Still the way I bought it (minus the CB):

    Ice roads fo days

No ones home.. Besides Big Brother

    The border :canada:

Rd to Pittston Farms was closed. Did this for about 4-5 miles instead

Pittston Farm. Early in the season for them, but they fired up the grill for me anyway. Nice folks.

Okay back on track... Who's packed and ready for this trip? I'm totally not....

Just got off the phone with my chief engineer telling him I put in for vacation already and am NOT missing this camping trip.
